Our Story
Growing up on a farm gave me (Belinda) an affinity for the farm life, finding joy in working with my hands in the great outdoors. Fueled by my passion, I pursued horticulture studies in the early 1990's, laying the groundwork for a fulfilling career while progressing into the retail sector.
Venturing further into my green journey, I made my way into landscaping and irrigation in Johannesburg. We later relocated, settling in White River, Mpumalanga where I embarked on a new chapter, adding a wholesale nursery to my landscaping business.
Driven by my passion for peonies, I made the bold decision to relocate the family to Himeville in pursuit of the ideal climate for cultivating this high-value crop. These steps were the beginning of an exciting journey - growing cut flowers.
Our business has grown and evolved over the years and we now grow many different seasonal cut flower varieties. I love what I do and the ever changing business model.
An exciting offering is our U pick from December to May and a Peony U pick mid November every year where we love meeting and hosting you. We’ve added our online shop with a beautiful selection of locally sourced products as well as our very own product line. Our flowers are sold in bunches and vase arrangements for local delivery as well as flower subscriptions for local collection points. We have our Bloom Bar where you can pick and choose from our selection of the day and we will make up a bunch for you. We also do weddings and functions for the KZN Midlands and surrounding areas of Underberg.
We are passionate about growing beautiful seasonal flowers and sharing that joy with you, the magic they bring with their ever changing faces. Every month is filled with excitement as we enjoy our many different flowers.
